Article 1 – PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as “General Terms and Conditions of Sale”) are concluded between, on the one hand, the company SARL C.S.J, registered with: RCS Lons le Saunier 788 419 323 – Siret: 788 419 323 00043 – Registered office: ZI la Lechere 39130 Patornay, hereinafter referred to as “SARL C.S.J, representative of the online store www.csj-emballages.com, and, on the other hand, individuals wishing to make a purchase via the website http://www.csj-emballages.com, hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer.”
Article 2 – ACCEPTANCE OF THESE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The parties agree that their relationship will be governed exclusively by these general terms and conditions of sale, to the exclusion of any specific and temporary article previously present on the site. Should a condition be missing, it would be considered governed by the practices in force in the distance selling sector for companies based in France. The fact that a buyer confirms their order on the online store www.csj-emballages.com (by clicking on the “confirm my order” button and checking the “I have read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale” box) constitutes full and complete acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale in their entirety. These general terms and conditions of sale will be executed and interpreted in accordance with French law.
Article 3 – PRODUCTS
The photographs representing the products are not considered contractual. Should errors occur, they cannot be attributed to the online store www.csj-emballages.com.

The geographical coverage area for the offer from the online store www.csj-emballages.com is as follows: Europe and international.
Article 5 – CONDITIONS FOR PLACING AN ORDER
The Buyer must have legal capacity or parental authorization to place an order on the online store www.csj-emballages.com.
Article 6 – ORDER PLACEMENT
The validation click executed by the Buyer – after completing the order form – constitutes confirmation of the Buyer’s order and corresponds to an electronic signature having the same value as a handwritten signature.
Article 7 – ORDER CONFIRMATION
The contract will only be concluded upon confirmation of the order by the online store www.csj-emballages.com. The Buyer will receive an email acknowledgment confirming the order and detailing all constituent elements of the contract (description of ordered items, price, shipping costs, etc.). The online store www.csj-emballages.com reserves the right not to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, particularly due to a product availability issue, or a problem related to the received order or its payment.
Article 8 – STOCK AND AVAILABILITY
All products offered on the www.csj-emballages.com website are in stock. The actual availability of a product can change rapidly depending on sales made on the Site or the stock of items with our suppliers (some items are supplied on a just-in-time basis). C.S.J Emballages cannot be held responsible if the estimated availability period of the product(s) and its or their delivery is affected. If a change in product availability should occur, the online store www.csj-emballages.com undertakes to inform the Buyer as soon as possible by phone or email. In this case, the www.csj-emballages.com store will offer the Buyer either a new deadline, a comparable item, or cancellation of their order. In the latter case, the online store www.csj-emballages.com will proceed with a refund by re-crediting the bank card no later than 14 (fourteen) days from the payment date.
Article 9 – PRICE
Product prices are expressed in Euros excluding taxes. The prices indicated on the product sheets do not include transport (shipping and delivery costs) and other processing fees related to the Buyer’s order, which will be indicated before the Buyer’s order is validated. The online store www.csj-emballages.com.fr reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without prior notice. Items will be invoiced to the Buyer based on the rates in effect at the time the order is registered. The price indicated in the order confirmation by the online store www.csj-emballages.com is the final price, expressed inclusive of all taxes and including VAT for France and the European Union. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging, product storage, and transport costs. Any change in the applicable tax in France will be directly reflected in the selling price of the catalog products. An invoice will be issued by the online store www.csj-emballages.com and sent with the package.
Article 10 – DISCOUNT DURING SPECIAL OPERATIONS
During certain special promotional campaigns throughout the year, the online store www.csj-emballages.com may have the pleasure of offering its customers an x% discount on the amount of their order. The specific conditions and duration will be mentioned during the said operation. This offer will be limited to one per household (same name, same address, same email address, same account or credit card holder). The online store www.csj-emballages.com therefore reserves the right to refuse the benefit of this commercial discount if there is any doubt about the prior existence of an identical Customer account.
Article 11 – PAYMENT
The bank card is debited at the time of order confirmation. The Buyer undertakes to pay the stipulated price for the ordered product(s), including the product price, as well as shipping costs and other costs related to order processing. The Buyer can pay for their order: – By bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard); – By bank check following an order placed by phone or mail. Only checks denominated in euros and drawn on a French banking institution will be accepted. The order number must be written on the back of the check, and the check, made payable to CSJ EMBALLAGES ZI la lechere 39130 Patornay, must be enclosed. Order processing will only become effective once the Buyer’s payment has been credited to our account. The company C.S.J may also request a photocopy of the Buyer’s identity document, or refuse a payment if the name of the order issuer differs from that appearing on the received check. A check not received within seven (7) days following the placement of an order will result in the cancellation of the current order.
Article 12 – DEFAULT OF PAYMENT AND RETENTION OF TITLE
Ordered products remain the property of the online store www.csj-emballages.com until full and final payment of their price in accordance with the terms of Law No. 80 335 of May 12, 1980. In case of default of payment, the online store www.csj-emballages.com reserves the right to reclaim the ordered products. The Buyer will thus be required to return any unpaid product, with return costs at their expense.
Article 13 – ORDER DELIVERY AND RECEIPT
The geographical delivery area corresponds to the geographical coverage area of the offer (zones listed in Article 4 above). Products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Buyer during the order process. The information provided by the Buyer when placing the order is binding. Therefore, in case of an error in the recipient’s contact details (namely first name, last name, street number and name, postal code, phone number, email address, access code, etc.), the online store www.csj-emballages.com cannot be held responsible for any inability to deliver the product. In this case, the costs related to a new delivery will be borne by the Buyer and charged at their actual cost. The online store www.csj-emballages.com undertakes to make every effort to deliver ordered products as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary depending on available stock, product type (made-to-order product due to its specificity), chosen delivery method, and destination chosen by the Buyer.

By Carrier: Delivery is made by carrier. The lead time is 72 working hours for in-stock products. An order placed before 7 AM is shipped the same day.

When several products are ordered at the same time and the shipping times are different, the effective shipping time may be the longest time, as the entire order is only prepared when all the products that constitute it are in stock at .csj-emballages.com. Delivery is deemed to have taken place upon handover of the product(s) to the private Carrier.csj-emballages.com is free to choose the Carrier it deems most appropriate to deliver its products. The acknowledgment of receipt (and/or delivery note) provided by the Carrier, dated and signed by the Buyer upon delivery of the order, will constitute proof of transport and delivery. Verification of the package condition by the Buyer upon delivery: The online store www.csj-emballages.com recommends that the Buyer check the package upon delivery (content, conformity, and condition of the package(s)). The package upon arrival must be checked by the Buyer, who must open and inspect it in the presence of the carrier before signing the acknowledgment of receipt. If the package and/or products are damaged (traces of water, shocks, burns, etc.), we advise you to refuse the said package by making precise, dated, and signed handwritten reservations on the delivery note and to have the mention “package refused as damaged” indicated. Furthermore, if the package shows signs of opening and one or more items are missing, you must also refuse it and draw up a statement of spoliation with the delivery person. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to confirm these reservations to the Carrier by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 3 (three) working days following receipt of the package and to send a copy to the online store www.csj-emballages.com. In the absence of the recipient during delivery, the Carrier will leave a delivery notice at the delivery address indicated by the Buyer. The product(s) must be collected at the address and according to the procedures indicated by the Carrier. In case of non-collection within the time limits set by the Carrier, the product(s) will be returned to the online store www.csj-emballages.com, which reserves the right to refund the price, with shipping costs remaining at the Buyer’s expense. In case of delays, damages, total or partial losses, or any other problem, it is up to the Buyer to exercise all recourse against the Carrier, without the responsibility of the online store www.csj-emballages.com ever being called into question.
Article 14 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L. 121-16 of the Consumer Code, the Buyer has a legal period of 14 (fourteen) working days from the delivery of their order to return the product to the seller, for exchange or refund, without penalty, with the exception of return costs. The returned product must be accompanied by all its possible accessories (manual) as well as its return form (https://www.csj-emballages.com/PBCPPlayer.asp?ID=2121336). It must not have been used, nor have suffered any damage, however minimal, and must be in perfect clean condition and in its unopened original packaging. Within a maximum of 14 days from the receipt of the product(s), the online store www.csj-emballages.com will proceed with the refund of the amount paid (excluding shipping costs). The refund does not include shipping costs, return costs, invoicing fees, administration fees, or customs duties. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured according to the Buyer’s specifications or clearly personalized. Indeed, these items cannot be subject to any return.
Article 15 – LIABILITY
The products offered on the online store www.csj-emballages.com comply with French legislation and applicable standards in France. The liability of the online store www.csj-emballages.com will not be engaged in case of delay related to a stockout at one of its suppliers. Furthermore, the online store www.csj-emballages.com cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract due to a case of force majeure. Thus, expressly considered as cases of force majeure are: total or partial strikes, internal or external to the transport company, telecommunications blockages including networks and notably the Internet, computer failures, blockages of transport or supply means. Finally, the online store www.csj-emballages.com cannot be held responsible for any indirect damages that may arise from the purchase of the products.
Article 16 – “DATA PROTECTION AND LIBERTIES” LAW
The personal information requested from the Buyer by the online store www.csj-emballages.com is necessary for order management and may be communicated to the contractual partners of the online store www.csj-emballages.com. The Buyer is informed that this automated processing of information has been declared to the CNIL (National Commission for Data Protection and Liberties). In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, namely the “Data Protection and Liberties Law,” the Buyer has a right to access, modify, rectify, and delete data concerning them. To do so, they simply need to notify by email (contact@csj-emballages.com) or by simple mail to the following address: sarl csj, ZI la Léchère, 39130 Patornay. SARL CSJ, owner of the online store www.csj-emballages.com, in order to improve its commercial relations, reserves the right to collect data on the user, particularly through the use of cookies. The computerized databases, stored in the information system of SARL CSJ will be considered as proof of communication, orders, and payments made between the parties.
Article 17 – DISPUTES
Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive goodwill, good faith always being presumed in those who take the trouble to explain their situations. In case of a dispute, the client will primarily contact the company SARL CSJ, owner of the www.csj-emballages.com store, to obtain an amicable solution. All disputes relating to the validity, interpretation, execution of our contracts, as well as these general terms and conditions of sale, will be brought before the Commercial Court of Lons le Saunier (Jura), which will have sole jurisdiction regardless of the delivery locations, payment method, and even in the event of multiple defendants, incidental claims, or warranty calls.
Article 18 – TOLERANCE
Our professional practices allow for a tolerance of 2% of items that may have defects in a delivery, given the industrial nature of their production.
Regarding quantity: quantities delivered in excess or deficit are deemed acceptable by the client, at the order price, with a tolerance of 20% on the ordered quantity.
However, this percentage may be higher for orders involving only small quantities of material.
Regarding grammage and thicknesses: being subject to the tolerances in practice in the packaging industry in terms of quality, purity, grammage, and thickness of the raw materials used, our responsibility cannot in any way be sought on these points.
In these areas, variations from one production run to another, being considered inevitable, cannot in any way justify a claim or refusal of the merchandise.
Regarding printing: variations in print quality subordinate to the processes employed and the raw materials used are admitted. Therefore, we approach the requested shades as closely as possible without a difference in tone being able to justify a refusal of the merchandise or a reduction in the initially agreed price.
